Position Summary: This position will be responsible for maintaining all areas of assigned buildings based on the daily need. These areas include offices, conference rooms, corridors, lobbies, and other public places such as break rooms and restrooms.

Summary of Essential Position Functions:

Empty Trash

Clean and sanitize restrooms.

Vacuuming and mopping floors

General Cleaning

Arrive at the work location at the scheduled time

Work within allotted hours and overtime if mandated by ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning by Alliance Manager

Complete any special request the client or manager makes and log communication in the company log.

Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Education/Credentials:

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Experience in a service environment is preferred but not required.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

One (1) to Two (2) years of previous janitorial experience preferred

Must be able to multi-task and work independently and as a member of a team

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Must have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic

Work Demands & Requirements

Physical demands include walking and standing, climbing, bending, kneeling to clean floors by hand, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (including 20 lbs vacuum), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movements.

Traveling to and from other locations

Uniform shirts are provided and must be worn during work hours. No jeans, shorts, dresses or open-toe sandals. Must wear your ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning by Alliance badge at all times.

Travel Required:

100% - Traveling to and from client locations and reliable transportation are required.
