    Job Position Description:

    This position provides emergency restoration and disaster recovery services to residential and commercial clients following assigned work orders and all company policies and procedures.

    General Duties & Responsibilities

    Understands and executes work orders in a timely and professional manner

    Maintains strict attention to detail when working at customer’s property

    Perform initial loss inspection, as needed

    Perform disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, and demolition, following IICRC standards

    Set dehumidifiers, fans, air purifiers, and other equipment at the work site, ensuring proper setup and removal

    Perform moisture mapping and loss documentation, utilizing ServiceMaster software.

    Remove drywall, carpets, insulation, etc. and perform general demolition after a loss.

    Complete pack-out and pack-in of customer's contents, ensuring all items are properly documented and brought back to the warehouse for cleaning and restoration.

    Participate in our 24 hour on call rotation, responding to emergency losses after hours and on weekends, as dictated by the on call schedule.

    Drive company vehicles, including water trucks and other machinery.

    Maintains clean, organized work areas and securely stores equipment and supplies

    Follows all safety policies and procedures

    Completes any reports or logs

    Completes both on the job training and ServiceMaster certification via ServiceMaster and industry standard courses

    Other duties as assigned

    General Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:

    High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred

    Experience with water/fire/smoke damage, mold remediation and repair, and any other emergency/disaster recovery or repair is highly preferred

    Safety and customer service oriented

    Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

    Skills in carpentry, including framing, drywall and finish trim

    Experience using a variety of hand and power tools

    Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed

    Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record

    Willing to participate in on-call rotation and other after hours and weekend work as needed

    Willing to participate in all training as needed/required

    High attention to detail

    Demonstrates a positive attitude

    Physical Demands and Qualifications:

    Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and and/or carry 55lbs.

    Ability to read cleaning instructions

    Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses

    This is a hourly non-exempt position. Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test, satisfactory background check and DMV Record.
