Construction Crew Member
We are expanding our construction department and currently seeking reliable and customer focused employees to undertake projects throughout Southern California. Construction Superintendent Job Responsibilities: (Minimum 5 years construction/restoration management experience required)
Manage multiple residential and commercial restoration projects with varying degrees of damage
Secure sub contractors to complete repairs for required trades
Negotiate cost effective contracts with sub contractors
Review repair estimates and communicate with estimator any missing or required changes
Fill out material selection and change order forms with customers (upload to job file)
Implementation and scheduling of repairs
Oversee and document construction progress
Ensure quality construction standards from sub contractors and in house staff
Communicate with customers regarding job progress and schedule
Qualifications / Skills:
Customer Service
Budgeting
Expert knowledge and proven experience in construction management
Expert knowledge of construction, City/state regulations and building materials
Insurance restoration experience is a plus
Excellent planning and organization skills
Understanding all aspects of the construction process
Conflict resolution
Competent computer skills
Leadership
Good communication
Attention to detail

Pay: Salary commensurate with experience
Education:
5+ years of construction project management (Required)
Xactimate estimate experience (Preferred)
Valid Driver’s License
High school or equivalent (Required)
Degree or equivalent experience in relative fields are a plus
In House Tradesman Job Requirements: (Minimum 5 years construction/restoration experience required)
Truck and tools (preferred)
Installation of drywall patch and texture
Produce all types of trades needed with regard to water and fire damage restoration
Prep and paint work to finish molding, walls cabinets etc.
Loading and unloading of materials, tools and equipment
Assist job site tradesman and superintendent in commercial/residential repairs
Skills
Proven experience as handyman
Drywall repair and painting
Basic flooring installation
Install doors, windows, cabinets, and trim
Install appliances
Troubleshoot repairs needed
Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
Basic math skills
Good communication
Attention to detail

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
