    Transportation Compliance Supervisor

    Ontario, California

    Transportation Compliance Supervisor Responsibilities:

    Maintain accurate inventory of all vehicles (Location, department, condition, and driver.)

    Supervise regular maintenance on all vehicles.

    Manage urgent or emergency repairs as needed

    Manage Rentals as needed

    Manage fuel cards and users

    Verify and approve all vehicle related invoices.

    Managing vehicle registration and insurance

    Monitoring Drivers to ensure proper driving practices

    Monitor all daily vehicle reports (digital) for compliance and safety

    Providing reports to management on maintenance and fleet progress, etc.

    A periotic physical inspection of all vehicles.

    Maintain all State, Federal, and Local licensing and ordinances.

    Purchasing vehicles as requested

    Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency

    Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

    Transportation Compliance Supervisor Qualifications:

    Great written and verbal communication skills

    Expert knowledge of best driving, vehicle maintenance and other industry practices

    Basic math and data analysis skills

    Understanding of basic vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are needed

    Good problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills

    Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilities

    Keen attention to detail

    Proficient in MS Excel

    Educational Requirements:

    Two or more years of work experience in Fleet Management

    High School Diploma (preferred)

    Additional Notes:

    · Must be able to pass a background check

    · Must have valid Driver’s License
