    OPERATIONS MANAGER

    Position Overview: Our locally owned Frederick, MD ServiceMaster franchise is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to join our team. As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operation of our water and fire damage restoration business, ensuring efficiency quality and exceptional customer service.

    Job Type: Restoration

    Work Hours: Full Time

    Compensation: $60,000 annually

    Position Summary: This position is responsible for defining and prioritizing the daily production activities. They create, implement, and ensure process and practices are performed consistently and in accordance/compliance with company and insurance standards. The operations manager supervises the restoration teams to deliver on the performance metrics while providing a positive customer experience, interfaces with the estimators to create project estimates and customer invoices.

    The ideal candidate will be high motivated; work well under pressure; be very attentive to detail; and be proactive, assertive, and highly skilled at multi-tasking and organization.

    Job Requirements:

    Extensive experience in mitigation and restoration of building materials and contents affected by wind, water, fire, smoke, and other property damage causes.

    Demonstrated Leadership within operations role

    Able to analyze, interpret and create general business process as well as federal, state, and local rules and regulations.

    Able to train, information, respond to questions from employees assigned to your charge.

    IICRC Certified

    Skilled in the use of computers or necessary technology including Microsoft Office products.

    Experienced in use of Restore356, Xactimate and XactAnalysis and reporting to improve questions.

    Detailed knowledge in insurance restoration industry

    Communicate effectively with customers, insurance companies and adjuster

    Work effectively with senior management to resolve issues and develop process solutions

    Supervise and motivate team to achieve results

    Demonstrated experience to supervise and build a team environment that motivates to achieve expected results

    Excellent problem solving, process improvement/development and communication skills

    Experience estimating and cost control

    Strong negotiating skills suppliers/sub-contractors/vendors

    Organized and detailed oriented

    Education:

    College degree required, preferably in business management

    Bilingual in English and Spanish - preferred
