    Job Summary: Our water and fire restoration company is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to assess and repair structural damage caused by water and fire incidents, ensuring that properties are restored to their pre-loss condition. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, experience in restoration work, and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.     Responsibilities:

    1. Assess the extent of structural damage caused by water and fire incidents, including framing, flooring, walls, and ceilings.

    2. Develop and implement repair plans and restoration strategies to restore damaged structures to their original condition.

    3. Perform carpentry work, including framing, drywall installation, trim work, and finish carpentry, with precision and attention to detail.

    4. Install and repair windows, doors, cabinets, and fixtures to ensure proper functionality and aesthetic appeal.

    5. Coordinate with other technicians and tradespeople to complete restoration projects on time and within budget.

    6. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites.

    7. Document all repair activities, including materials used, labor hours, and project updates, for accurate record-keeping and billing purposes.

    8. Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and project managers to provide updates on repair progress and address any concerns.

    9. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, equipment, and materials, to promote safety and professionalism.

    Requirements:

    1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in carpentry or construction is a plus.

    2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in carpentry, preferably in restoration or renovation work.

    3. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials used in structural repair and restoration projects.

    4. Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality workmanship under tight deadlines.

    5. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in challenging environments.

    6. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record with the ability to insure through the company’s policy.

    7. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

    8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
