Farm-to-Table Culinary Director

We're looking for an outstanding “people person” that has a familiarity and fondness with the culinary world to be part of our dynamic vocational team at Prospect Meadow Farm’s Rooster Café in Northampton.
As the Culinary Director you will:
Lead and manage cafe, catering and retail store operations; menu and recipe development; inventory management
Supervise the implementation of vocational support plans for disabled individuals working in ServiceNet-owned food related businesses.
Ensure that ServiceNet vocational programs maintain a staff of qualified personnel that provide the best quality services that can be provided. This includes ensuring that trainings and certifications are current for all employees in accordance with individuals’ ISP needs, state and federal guidelines.
Regularly review product quality, manage vendor relations and research new vendors
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Position Qualifications:
Significant culinary experience with a minimum of 5 years of employment in food service preferably with 2 years of supervisory experience
Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and a vehicle
Perform physically demanding culinary tasks including large quantity catering.
Excellent communication, computer and organizational skills
Ability to successfully obtain Servsafe Food Manager Certification
