Position Summary: The Culinary Job Coach is teaching and coaching a team of individuals with autism and developmental challenges, helping them gain work experience in a commercial kitchen environment. Key areas of focus are leading and managing farm kitchen operations with an emphasis on wholesale & bulk food preparation, preparing and facilitating a culinary education curriculum including menu and recipe development, complying with applicable regulatory statutes, and supporting the social enterprise farm’s culinary operations.

Position Responsibilities:
Supervise the implementation of vocational support plans for disabled individuals working in ServiceNet-owned food related businesses.
Supervise, coach and mentor culinary trainees and develop their skills related to properly performing work tasks while furthering their culinary education.
Working with culinary trainees and staff to develop problem solving strategies to facilitate continued growth.
Maintaining regular communication with culinary trainees, their support providers and families.
Support daily café, catering and retail operations.
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulation.
All other relevant duties as assigned by the Director of Vocational Services or his/her designee.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Culinary education and/or experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 6 months; and acceptable motor vehicle record.
Basic computer/office skills.
Background check (CORI).
