    To hyperscale, we’re hiring a Vice President, Enterprise Data and Analytics to :

    • Set and lead a clear technical direction for data and analytics to support Servicenow’s business goals, driving standards for engineering excellence that lead to scale.
    • Establish and foster a technical culture of “data as an asset” turning raw data into operational value for our businesses to make informed decisions on how to improve customer outcomes.
    • Play pivotal role in designing an enterprise, centralized data management system that facilitates the secure ingestion, processing, and delivery of data in the pursuit of timely insights to the business at scale.
    • Drive data democratization culture at ServiceNow to get the data in the hands of the users, business analysts and stakeholders through self-serve, analytics platforms, mobile and application integrations.
    • Drive radical simplicity, intelligence, transparency, reliability and enterprise readiness in Analytics, Data Governance, MDM and Data Quality.

    The Team

    The mission of the Enterprise Data and Analytics team is to empower our business to gain timely operational insights at scale and our enterprise data and analytics portfolio is a key differentiator and growth driver for Servicenow to scale. We are a dynamic team responsible for providing frameworks, tools, strategies, and methods to enable a data as an asset infrastructure that drives our most valued business decisions and customer success. We lead by example, ensuring the highest bar of standards in technical quality across the people, process, and technology.

    The Role

    This is a highly visible and critical technical executive role leading the design and programs that will leverage new and existing technology to enable operational insights into Servicenow’s Sales, Marketing, Customer, Products, Financial, Talent businesses leading to the ultimate customer experience. You will be responsible for all data platforms and technologies in the entire data life cycle (data collection, processing, and analysis). By joining us, you have the opportunity to:

    • Set the vision of the internal data strategy for the company.
    • Drive the data democratization amongst all of the ServiceNow employees by getting the right data to the users, empowering the super users and business analysts with deeper access to the data and drive analytics innovation.
    • Own and modernize the data tech stack: data lake, data warehouse, enterprise analytics platform, MDM, data quality and governance.
    • Join an already high-intensity, successful company in driving 2x revenues trajectory.
    • Recruit and manage a distributed team of leaders and individual contributors, mentoring and coaching team members to develop their skill, and setting the team vision, strategy, and goals.
    • Oversee the collection, storage, management, quality, protection, and delivery of data and analytics in a centralized approach.
    • Design and implement analytic tools and systems to identify and reduce pain points at all stages of the business process.
    • Lead deep technical design discussions and strategy within the technology team, across partner teams, the company and customers ensuring that we’re building and delivering a 21st century data infrastructure.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Expert-level experience and qualifications to be successful in this role include:

    • 15+ years of experience designing, architecting, and leading Cloud/SaaS data platforms and operations at scale
    • 15+ years of experience building enterprise software
    • Experience designing and driving analytic frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.), storage systems, distributed data processing systems.
    • Experience in enabling data self-serve model at scale.
    • Experience building and leading 100+ person distributed, high-velocity technical teams
    • Experience communicating and collaborating with internal and external customers and stakeholders and facilitating collaboration with other internal engineering and cross-functional teams.
    • Solid foundation in design, data structures and algorithms.
    • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
