    As the Principal Architect, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and define technical requirements.
    • Design and create comprehensive architectural blueprints that outline the structure and behavior of systems.
    • Evaluate existing technologies and propose recommendations for technology adoption or upgrades.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains innovative and elite.
    • Work closely with development teams, project managers, and business analysts to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
    • Communicate architectural directions and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and innovation.
    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of architectural standards and best practices.

    Guide Strategic Thought**

    • Partner in developing a transformative approach to design architecture and build customer and employee experiences of the future
    • Align Digital Technology strategy with the strategic priorities of the company
    • Engage and provide architecture thought guidance across the Chief Digital and Information Officer team
    • Find gaps in technology architecture and translate them into opportunities, with a roadmap to attain strategic outcomes
    • Evaluate and define vendor strategy that supports architectural tenets
    • Partner with senior business stakeholders to understand business outcomes and create capability maturity-led technology investment outcomes.
    • Drive roadmaps toward a future/target state reference architecture

    Guide Transformation

    • Oversee and manage a team of high-performing architects, ML engineers, data scientists and influence a community of Architects across the company
    • Solve complex design issues and resolve technological disagreements with informed architecture patterns
    • ·Own design of Enterprise architecture policies and guidelines to manage and guide DT and stakeholders
    • Partner with Early Technologies teams to foster innovative thinking and drive PoCs to experiment with disruptive technologies
    • Lead architectural cross-functionally on strategic initiatives while building strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups, serving as an ambassador for DT teams in the company
    • Adaptable governance
    • Provide adaptable and scalable governance to ensure teams conform to the guiding philosophy
    • Build a community of architects across Technology teams in the company
    • Balance governance with agility to drive faster time to market.
    • Identify Enterprise-level Optimization efforts and counsel on such efforts for the organization.
    • Connect the dots to understand, proactively surface, and unblock architecture dependencies.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

    • Proven experience (15+ years) in a technical leadership role with a focus on designing scalable system architecture.
    • Strong technical background in software development, with hands-on experience in designing and building service oriented / microservices architectures using modern technologies and frameworks (Spring Boot, Kafka, Containers, Airflow, REST/gRPC, Streaming Data Pipelines, Kubernetes).
    • Proficient in multiple programming language (Java, NodeJS, Python) and Experienced in Azure services or any other public cloud services.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering scalable and efficient backend services.
    • A results-driven mindset with the ability to set and achieve challenging goals.
    • Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies, driving a culture of continuous integration and deployment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Passion for staying updated with emerging technologies.
    • BS in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field
    • Experience in guiding Architecture strategy to align company priorities with technology outcomes and define target state architectures with roadmaps
    • Strong and deep technical expertise across applications, data, infrastructure, and integrations as well as strong domain knowledge on what is “best in class” digital experience for Enterprise products
    • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills, and experience interacting with both business and technology teams, at all levels
    • Understand the significant industry shifts taking place in the current landscape, and be able to design forward-thinking, innovative, and impactful solutions.
    • An inquisitive mind, endless curiosity, and passion for learning about technologies, industries, and new approaches to doing things
    • Experience working in Agile “ways of working” in a high growth environment
    • Highly self-motivated, results-focused, team-oriented, and ability to work cross-functionally
