Job Description
Locus robotics is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer. Candidates will be proficient with writing test procedures for advanced electro-mechanical assemblies. Should have knowledge in product lifecycle testing and test method design and documentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Aid engineering in creating documented test protocols for advanced automation technology
- Write thorough test procedures for/with QA engineers and colleagues
- Share knowledge and aid in refining designs and test methods
- Perform root cause analysis based on test results
- Propose changes to design/ process to rectify issues found
- Create fixtures for tests designed for both production and engineering
- Conceptualize, design, fabricate and build test fixtures
- Perform cross-discipline work to support multiple departments
