Job Description ServiceNow is embarking on an MDM transformation journey and the Data & Analytics organization is looking to build a strong Data & Analytics capability aimed core to the foundation of the MDM platform. As part of this effort, the team is serving as the core hub of knowledge on MDM, Intelligent Data, Analytics and data solutions, and successfully executing and managing core transformations. We are looking for a talented and driven individual to accelerate our efforts and be a major part of our data-centric culture. The Informatica Data Quality Engineer is an instrumental role in the Data Quality Services organization supporting an enterprise data quality solution. This role will support the BI organization in the ability to analyze and assess data quality across systems. This role will be key in helping to support actionable information to improve the quality & value of information assets.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO IN THIS ROLE:

• Be responsible for designing, testing, deploying, and documenting the data quality procedures and their outputs
• Provide relevant outputs and results from the data quality procedures, including any ongoing procedures that will run after project end.
• Document at a functional level how the procedures work within the data quality applications.
• Perform data load and mappings from source systems as the scope of quality information increases across the enterprise.
• Be responsible for standards when creating mapplets and code migration from development thru test.
• Support an enterprise product release cycle of many concurrent versions by collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams.
• Ensure oversight and access management for the IDQ Repository.
• Maintain and support the Address Doctor Real Time connector with the MDM Hub
• Maintain data matching logic and Address Doctor dictionaries.
• Provide summary results of data quality analysis, which will be used to make decisions regarding how to measure business rules and quality of the data.
• Develop and implement additional data quality monitoring based on requirements gathered from business units.
• Provide Data Quality Scorecards, Dashboards and Ad-Hoc reporting
• Aptitude to understand business challenges and offer advice on how to solve them with DQ
• Create, review and manage technical documentation and deployment documents.

Qualifications TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE NEED SOMEONE WHO HAS:

• 5+ years’ experience with Informatica DQ with MDM working on enterprise data quality projects to support business intelligence functions
• Experience in Informatica IDQ 10.x Development, mappings, rules, transformations, mapplets, workflow, schedulers.
• Experience in data profiling & data quality rules development using Informatica Data Quality
• 3+ years of data analyst experience performing data profiling, data mapping, data validation, data manipulation, data analysis, use case, test cases, etc.
• Experience with Data Governance and Master Data Management strongly preferred
• Ability to develop, and implement functions, stored procedures, and ETL jobs using PL/SQL
• Strong RDBMS SQL and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Address Doctor, and other external Data providers like D&B, FullContact, StrikeIron etc.
• Hands-on experience in building and consuming webservices from IDQ.
• Hand-on experience in Loading MDM Landing and Staging tables.
• Understanding of RHEL Linux shell scripting and filesystems.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL SERVER database, using SQL statements, performance fine-tuning.
• Data mapping experience - mapping data sources to and from multiple applications

NICE TO HAVE

• Informatica certification
• Understanding of ServiceNOW platform is a plus
• Experience of Agile methods

EDUCATION

• Bachelors in a Computer Science related discipline
