  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Software Engineer engages directly with IT development, technical delivery teams, enterprise architects, resource managers, operations support teams and vendors to ensure the successful design, development and delivery of technology based solutions including a specialization in internal and consumer-facing web solutions, and front-end development.

    Responsibilities

    • Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies, software, hardware and tools.
    • Responsible for solving technical and complex problems; go-to person for UI related technical issues
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions with associates to determine best solutions
    • Develops/designs integrated solutions to resolve technical issues
    • Establishes successful working and support relationships with cross-functional leaders and staff as well as third party vendors
    • Required .Net web development and expected to provide application support.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • US Citizen
    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, system, software, computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or related field.
    • 12 years of direct experience in the design, integration, configuration, and analysis of complex software systems, military electronics, computer networking, and digital and graphic display systems.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
    • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and changing project requirements.
    • Experience with modern web development frameworks and technologies.
    • Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
    • Knowledge of database systems and data modeling.

    Preferred:

    • Experience working with user representatives, and Army and Joint programs to develop and execute interoperability testing between systems.
    • Experience with intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance software systems. Includes direct experience with Department of Defense System Engineering processes.
    • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
    • Accurate and precise attention to detail.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
