    Job Description

    The SRE team is a group of highly technical engineers who are tasked with maintaining and developing the reliability, scalability and performance of the ServiceNow infrastructure. The SRE is empowered to drive technical resolutions across the technology stack from hardware through to application and all stops in between. They are also tasked with driving forward the operability of the platform to drive down the number of incidents and to reduce MTTR.

    To accomplish this the team combines software development, networking and systems engineering expertise with a strong desire to be challenged by problems of scale and complexity and to make services better for our customers.

    As an SRE – Delivery Analyst, your job will revolve around the analysis of the various inputs and outputs of this work and using it to make data-driven improvements to their world. This will include alerting, automation and all associated processes. 

    WHAT YOU GET TO DO IN THIS ROLE:   

     

    • Design, develop and maintain self-service dashboards and reports to support the analysis and continual improvement of operational alerts, automations and processes
    • Work with large, complex data sets to prepare regular and ad-hoc analysis of ServiceNow data including alerts, tasks and automation trends and communicate findings and recommendations to the leadership team
    • Develop, deploy and display metrics to support recommendations and feed continuous improvement initiatives
    • Provide data-driven recommendations on alert, process and automation development to increase alert fidelity as well as improve automation coverage and functionality
    • Drive and champion the adoption of data analytics to serve as the foundation and measurement of current and future processes, automation and alerting
    • Create and communicate findings and recommendations to upper-level management and cross-functional teams
    • Drive resultant projects to completion based on well established, data-driven criteria

    THIS IS WHAT WE REQUIRE. TAKE NOTE BECAUSE THEY ARE A MUST-HAVE:

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
    • At least 5 years of experience in Business Information and/or Data Analytics, preferably in a SaaS or PaaS company
    • Experience and proficiency with reporting & dashboarding in ServiceNow as well as expert knowledge in Excel and Tableau. Service Now System Administrator or Reporting Essentials expertise preferred
    • Strong critical thinking and mathematical skills, including a fundamental understanding of statistics
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on presenting complex data in a comprehensible manner
    • Driven to use data to improve business processes and outcomes
