Job Description
We are seeking three Process Optimization Specialists to join our Operational Excellence and Governance team, within Global People Operations, to assist in streamlining and improving our processes using technology, automation and Lean Management methodology. Our ideal candidates will utilize curiosity, strong communication, technical skills, and knowledge in Global People processes, while effectively partnering with stakeholders to collaborate, document and establish governance around process.
These positions requires someone who is self-motivated with a passion for thinking outside of the box to analyze multiple sources of data, provide a vision for improvement, and develop business cases, proposals, and plans for execution. You will interact and lead discussions regularly with a variety of stakeholders across Global People and in other disciplines internal and external to the business. Our candidates will support all areas of Global People process optimization, including process mapping, current and future state documentation, cross-functional project support and leading training workshops across the organization. You will develop, present, recommend, and implement approved approaches in collaboration with stakeholders and you will have responsibility for creating, maintaining, and reporting on applicable metrics. We are looking for someone to proactively manage complex, widely-scoped and/or cross-functional improvement initiatives within Global People while ensuring alignment organizational strategic direction. You will facilitate innovative work sessions with key stakeholders and develop framework to ensure both launch and sustainability of processes.
Reporting to the Process Optimization Manager, you will be a critical member of the Operational Excellence and Governance team and will ensure execution of our strategic initiatives to focus on our customers, deliver outstanding employee experiences, inspire each other, and improve operational effectiveness.
What you get to do in this role:
· Supports of all Global People teams (GP Care, GP Recruiting Coordinators, TA&D, P&R, Global People, HRBP & PP, etc.) in their process optimization needs – these roles are not yet aligned to any specific support area; there is no need to apply to more than one role.
· Partners to assess the supported team’s process maturity including ensuring full inventory of processes.
· Ensures adherence to Global People’s defined process maturity criteria, including governance and maintenance of current artifacts
· Drives current state process documentation and discovery of improvement opportunities, leveraging Lean and Process Mining, when designing future state processes in partnership with process owners.
· Partners with the Intake Manager in support of any Optimization requests, including cross-functional project support, process mapping workshop facilitation and training needs.
· Partners with the PMO and Product teams to fully understand their Roadmap and provide optimization support in preparedness for new projects in support area.
· Identifies automation and technology improvements on the Platform in the reporting and progress of process optimization work within Global People working with Process Owners and Product teams to drive outcomes.
· Maintains Global People Process Inventory for supported area to ensure compliance with agreed-upon reviews and project updates.
· Drives documentation and improvement goals for support area. Determines baseline of manual nature of processes and ability to measure improvement from optimization
· Ensures we are utilizing and maintaining the centralized repository for process optimization artifacts on the Platform
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
· Experience in ServiceNow Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) a plus
· Experience with Global People processes and/or process improvement strongly preferred
· Experience with change management methodology strongly preferred.
· 3-4 years combined experience in the areas of operations
· Exposure to Lean Management tools such as LucidChart, Visio or Smartsheet
· Independent worker and must be able to regularly exercise discretion, handle conflict and be firm when required.
· Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The ability to analyze complex questions and determine the best course of actions or recommendation.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with employees at all levels
· Strong project management and organization skills.
· A ‘can do’ attitude to fast-paced and dynamic situations, challenges and customers
· Organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
· Lean Six Sigma/Six Sigma certification preferred.

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $72,000 - $111,600, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
