You will be joining the innovation and incubation team of ServiceNow (NowX). We are constantly working on new projects. This team is responsible for the features, and architecture of powerful applications that are introduced to the company as a future product. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting technologies such as React, Redux, GraphQL, UI components, predictive intelligence, workflow & automation, developer tools, and IDE. If you are enthusiastic about working with the latest technologies, and strive for performant and scalable user interfaces with obsession on aesthetics, we want you to join us!

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of Javascript, React, Redux, GraphQL
• Working knowledge of using tools to assist with daily tasks (IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, Git, Maven, system administration/Unix tools
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance considerations. You need to know how to write your unit and integration test cases in Java.

In your every day job you will:

• Participate in design and/or customer discussions
• Engineer highly interactive web-based applications and UIs that can scale with application complexity
• Create tools, libraries, and frameworks for other developers to build upon
• Adhere to the best coding practices, provide code reviews, and mentor junior developers
• Work with a strong set of international teams to improve developing and deploying applications and customizations
• Collaborate with other designers and inter-teams engineers to remove road blocks

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $123,300 - $209,700, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
