    Come join the Analytics & Instrumentation team and work with a talented group of product managers, data analysts, data engineers, designers and researchers to reinvent how work flows through the modern enterprise with data.

    As part of the Platform organization, it is our mission to equip our customers and internal partners with usage analytics to identify new opportunities, make better decisions, and quantify business impact.

    We champion for a data-driven culture not only within ServiceNow, but also for all our customers. We accomplish this by creating a suite of tools that simplify the collection, streaming, storage, reporting and visualization of product usage analytics. We coach and consult teams on how to instrument products, define KPIs, and how to make data actionable. This position reports to: Senior Manager, Product Management. 

    POSITION

    In this role, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy and development of our analytics and instrumentation offerings. You will also play a key role in strengthening our data culture at ServiceNow, and help our partners become more fluent with data.

    This role is extraordinarily collaborative, working with peer inbound and outbound product managers, customers, engineers, analysts, designers and researchers to empower internal and external teams to use data to make smarter decisions.

    WHAT YOU GET TO DO IN THIS ROLE:   

    • Innovate on our analytics and instrumentation products by working closely with 5-10 engineers and analysts
    • Talk to end users on a regular basis
    • Test and validate product analytics opportunities
    • Align stakeholders on problems and desired outcomes
    • Coach other product managers how to instrument their products and set good KPIs
    • Help shape our data product insights enablement program
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU HAVE:

    • 8+ years of professional experience in Product Management 
    • Experience in business intelligence, building data products and/or extensive product instrumentation
    • Ability to use data to influence decisions and priority
    • Ability to articulate a product strategy and translate that into execution
    • Proficiency with SQL and/or other analytics tools
    • Preferred candidate location is Santa Clara, California and then West coast however open to anywhere in the US

    A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.

    FLEXIBLE 

    A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.

    REMOTE

    A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
