    Job Description

    THE POSITION

    You will be responsible for researching complex tax issues and preparing tax technical memorandum and documentation, providing support on tax compliance, provision and planning to assist the business in achieving its goals in a tax-efficient manner. You must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and work closely and proactively with numerous functional teams across our organization to develop a deep understanding of technical tax concepts and apply them to ServiceNow's business operations. This position will report to the Director, International Tax who is based in Santa Clara, California.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Monitor proposed and enacted tax legislative changes and model their impact.  Prepare technical tax memos to communicate legislative impact to Tax leadership
    • Assist in international tax planning initiatives by evaluating, researching and modeling; demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts
    • Provide technical support on key US international tax calculations including GILTI, Subpart F, FTC, §163j, BEAT, FDII and impact of BEPS initiatives
    • Assist in US international portion of global tax provision and US tax return preparation
    • Assist in preparation of quarterly, annual and long-term tax forecasts
    • Assist in US international tax audit notices and inquiries
    • Build collaborative working relationships with treasury, legal, accounting and FP&A
    • Identify and drive process improvements and efficiencies for areas of responsibility
    • Ad hoc tax projects
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • At least 7 years of international tax experience in Big 4/law firm, technology industry experience, or combination thereof
    • JD, LLM or MST; CPA a plus
    • Strong technical knowledge of US and non-US international tax concepts
    • Excellent tax research and analytical skills, including written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate complex tax concepts clearly and concisely to cross functional audiences
    • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and meet targeted deadlines for project completion
    • Experience in transfer pricing, US and international tax compliance and income tax accounting
    • Experience in SAP and One Source Tax Provision a plusAbility to manage and execute multiple tasks from end-to-end, prioritizing and adhering to tight timelines with attention to detail
    • Independent and self-driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Growth mindset and willingness to embrace change

    FLEXIBLE 

    A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.

    REMOTE

    A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
