    We are currently hiring for several different roles within the security organization in Digital Technology.

    INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST INTERN duties may include:

    • Utilize security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems
    • Research attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and designs countermeasures
    • Maintains hardware, software and network firewalls and encryption protocols
    • Administers security policies to control physical and virtual access to systems

                                                                

    SECURITY BEHAVIOR ANALYST INTERN duties may include:

    • Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for scorecard success
    • Provide insight and analysis for a wide range of projects and events related to the Security Behavior and Adoption program
    • Help design, develop, and analyze phishing campaigns and other managed programs that measure security behavior
    • Develop and implement the 2023 Cyber Security Awareness Month activities and provide post-activity analysis to measure success
    • Leverage a variety of creative formats, tactics, and content delivery channels to achieve awareness and education analytic goals
    • Use analysis of scorecard data to drive direction for security communications (e.g. toolkit, announcement, articles, posters, posts) to engage our employees
    • Prepare executive summaries for projects including approaches, analysis and results
    • Engage, monitor, and analyze employee sentiment in the company platforms (e.g. Employee Portal, Now at Work, MS Teams)

    INFORMATION SECURITY ENGINEER INTERN duties may include:

    • Responsible for the planning, design and build of security architectures; oversees the implementation of network and computer security and ensures compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies and procedures
    • Monitors cybersecurity requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related network devices
    • Performs security assessments of applications and systems using penetration and vulnerability testing and risk analysis
    • Configures and installs firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
    • Implements software fixes (patches) to remove system vulnerabilities
    • Investigates intrusion incidents and conducts forensic investigations

                    

    PRODUCT SECURITY ENGINEER INTERN duties may include:

    • Responsible in identifying security vulnerabilities within our platform
    • Interface with external researchers and customers that perform security assessments against ServiceNow
    • Run dynamic security testing tools, plan projects, and be a security advocate
    • Report issues to application owners, provide meaningful remediation recommendations, and validate that issues have been resolved
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Actively enrolled in an accredited university as a full-time student and PURSUING A BACHELORS OR MASTERS DEGREE in Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related degree programs
      • GRADUATING DECEMBER 2023, or later
      • Able to work full time for 12 weeks during the summer (May – September)
    • Completed coursework in IT/Security, including a basic understanding of networks and operating systems 
    • Prior experience in web security/strong familiarity with OWASP, preferred
    • Previously managed a bug bounty or responsible disclosure program, preferred
    • Understanding of web and mobile application security assessment techniques, preferred
    • Engineering roles will require experience using Python
    • Experience working with the ServiceNow Platform a plus.
    • Security certifications a plus.
    • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail 
    • Demonstrated well-developed written and oral communication skills 
    • Customer service experience 
    • Flexible and open-minded about learning about larger Security organizations 
    • Approach problems and projects with a high level of professionalism, objectivity, and has an open mind to innovative ideas and solutions
