    Job Description

    As a Technical Training and Enablement Intern, you will help our team deliver world-class training solutions for engineering, operations and customer support teams. This may include partnering with Senior Learning Program Managers and subject matter experts in the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of training programs.  

    Responsibilities:  

    • Assist with the development of high-quality instructional materials and curricula for a variety of delivery types (eLearning, video, instructor-led training, etc.) targeting ServiceNow’s internal technical audience 

    • Interface with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and peers to gather information and collaborate on training projects 

    • Provide instructional design assistance on training projects including creating storyboards, writing scripts, creating design documents, developing and revising content (as appropriate), receiving and incorporating feedback from peers and subject matter experts 

    • Review existing content and other source materials and make recommendations for content updates 

    • Assist with developing course evaluations to determine effectiveness of training, and incorporate measurement and assessment results into future training

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelors, or Masters, in an I/O Psychology, Learning Design and Technology program, or similar degree with a keen interest in learning design and measuring training effectiveness 
      • GRADUATING DECEMBER 2022, OR LATER
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high capacity work environment 
    • Ability to use good judgment in recognizing scope of authority 
    • Ability to proceed independently and carry out assignments to completion with minimal instruction 
    • Ability to review written and visual training content with a keen attention to detail  
    • Strong writing skills including the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely 
    • Strong interpersonal skills to drive meaningful conversations 
    • Strong command of the English language

    WORK PERSONAS

    Work personas are categories that are assigned to employees depending on the nature of their work. Employees will fall into one of three categories: Remote, Flexible or Required in Office.

    REQUIRED IN OFFICE

    A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.

    FLEXIBLE

    A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.

    REMOTE

    A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
