    Job Description

    WHAT YOU GET TO DO IN THIS ROLE:

    • Develop disaster recovery plans for critical applications and services.
    • Coordinate periodic tests on documented disaster recovery strategies and plans.
    • Analyze impact on, and risk to, essential business functions or information systems to identify acceptable recovery time periods and resource requirements.
    • Assess risks to business operations.
    • Review existing disaster recovery, crisis management, or business continuity plans.
    • Write reports to summarize testing activities, including descriptions of goals, planning, scheduling, execution, results, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
    • Maintain and update organization information technology applications and network systems blueprints.
    • Prepare reports summarizing operational results, financial performance, or accomplishments of specified objectives, goals, or plans.
    • Prepare operational reports.
    • Create scenarios to re-establish operations from various types of business disruptions.
    • Attend professional meetings, read literature, and participate in training or other educational offerings to keep abreast of new developments and technologies related to disaster recovery and business continuity.
    • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
    • Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
    • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
    • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
    • Determining scope changes, developing strategies and undertaking project tasks as required.
    • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
    • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
    • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution, provide administrative support as needed.
    • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
    • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objectives.
    • Administer infrastructure upgrades, implementations, and integrations.
    • Develop and implement IT processes.
    • Identify opportunities and own improvements to technologies and IT processes.
    • Lead, define, and complete complex IT tasks independently, and lead small projects as needed.
    • Manage and be accountable for project completions.
    • Acquiring resources and coordinating team members along with third-party contractors.
    • Establish team priorities according to business and technical need.
    • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information that can be easily consumed by various executive audiences.
    • Build proofs-of-concept (POC) for potential new solutions and technologies by working closely with product management and engineering teams.
    • Facilitate requirements gathering and process mapping workshops. Perform gap analysis (as-is functionality versus to-be functionality).
    • Participate in end-to-end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication and change management.
    • Document and identify ways to improve existing business and technical operations pain points based on process optimization, technology, change management, or communication.
  • Qualifications

    TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU HAVE:

    • EXPERIENCE IN EXECUTING PROJECTS USING SAFE METHODOLOGY IS A BIG PLUS.
    • Experienced scrum master managing multiple scrums teams applying scrum principles and best practices
    • Extensive experience with Agile tool and techniques: Lean design, accommodating changing requirements, iterations, feedback loop with customer involvement.
    • Experience in working with Now Platform and ServiceNow Workflow Products is a big plus
    • Experience with working in an innovation-fueled, start-up like environment to deliver a product from ideation to market launch is a big plus
    • Have strong business acumen while demonstrating strong ability to understand complex technical domains to lead functional-technical discussions across different organizations and deliver value-driven, customer-oriented solutions
    • Demonstrated ability to lead extended groups of senior professionals in a matrixed organization
    • Demonstrated ability to drive leadership meetings with senior leaders and solid experience in decision making
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills, problem solving, conflict resolution management, active listening, time management and interpersonal skills
    • Agile Scrum Master Certified

    A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.

    FLEXIBLE 

    A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.

    REMOTE

    A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
