    What you get to do in this role:

    • Be part of the team that builds, improves, and maintains solutions for our employees, where Workday HCM as system of record and ServiceNow as primary system of engagement play starring roles.
    • Combine your strategic thinking and deep HR Technology domain expertise to tackle complex business problems by breaking them down and designing creative, effective solutions, all while never losing sight of the big picture.
    • Leverage your deep Workday HCM expertise (Core HR, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Payroll Interface, and WD integrations) to shape the future. Take full advantage of our WD investment in a way that scales for the future and flows seamlessly with our internal instance of ServiceNow.
    • Contribute to a Community of Architects. Drive efficiency and data consistency across employee experiences. Partner with other Solution Architects, Technical Leads, and Enterprise Architects across domains to ensure that we are aligned with shared business objectives and Digital Technology standards. Represent new approaches with Architectural Review Board (ARB).
    • Collaborate with a variety of partners. Work with internal-facing Product Pods and business stakeholders to deliver connected experiences that put the employee at the center, ranging from strategic initiatives to more immediate technical needs. Use your excellent communication skills to understand needs and influence positive outcomes with fellow technologists, business stakeholders, executives, and end users.
    • Technology thought leadership. Keep up with changes in the landscape (ex. emerging functionality from future WD releases). Partner with Technical Product Managers and product-based pods to drive and consult on key business initiatives, enabled through new or existing functionality. Run and contribute to design reviews to ensure that we’ve considered all the different angles and are implementing the best solutions for our employees.

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role you have:

    • BE/M Tech degree in Information Systems or related discipline; Advanced degree a plus.
    • 8+ years of experience working in the HR technology ecosystem with advanced technical, knowledge of Workday:
      • Core HCM, Security
      • Adv Reporting, EIBs and calculated fields.
      • Time Tracking
      • Absence Management (global time off, LOA, etc)
      • Advanced Compensation
    • Advanced working knowledge of business process redesign principles, tools, and techniques.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable with variety of stakeholders (business and technical, executives as well as end-user)
    • Ability to lead and work collaboratively within a business unit team and have strong influencing skills.
    • Capable of managing multiple priorities and complex tasks in a dynamic work environment
    • Highly motivated and driven, with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a self-managed environment.
