    Job Description

    We are always looking for passionate individuals to lead the experience design, user research, and product content for a portfolio of customer solutions. You will be part of the growing, world-class Experience Organization (EO) which creates new and compelling experiences for ServiceNow – enabling people around the world to get work done better than ever before! 

    WHAT YOU GET TO DO IN THIS ROLE: 

    • Directly manage and mentor 3-4+ designers 
    • Bring a consumer design eye to the UX of our enterprise platform 
    • Drive elegant experiences founded on world-class UX and UI practice for multiple platforms and for an extensive range of products  
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with platform design, product management, user research, engineering and content from strategic definition, planning, architecture, through tactical execution of the product roadmaps
    • Drive solving UX problems through visual design that are well-defined or ambiguous in nature 
    • Understand the company's Design Systems, encourage their application, and contribute to their further development and maintenance 
    • Drive the growth of user-centric, collaborative, and contribution cultures across the different business units and how visual design affects those principles 
    • Ensure there is written/visualized detailed documentation for both new and existing products, that focus on detailing proper usage, interactions, and visual specifications for a broad audience of designers and engineers

    Qualifications

    IN ORDER TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE NEED SOMEONE WHO HAS: 

    • Minimum 3 years of experience managing or leading design teams 
    • Strong leadership and passion to grow and mentor people 
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in UI Design and/or Interaction Design 
    • Experience with creating, managing, and enforcing a style guide or design system  
    • Experience creating visual design that meets product, marketing, and engineering requirements in a cohesive, systematic, and user-focused manner
    • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills  
    • A portfolio of work samples representing your work and approaches
