    Position Overview

    The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Office of Administration – Enterprise Technology Services Office (OA/ETSO) is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer. This hybrid role requires onsite presence two days per week or as needed. The developer will collaborate with ITSM bureau personnel, system specialists, SMEs, and suppliers to enhance ServiceNow functionality and deliver integrated solutions.

    Responsibilities

    Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and integrations.

    Customize ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB.

    Develop and maintain custom applications using ServiceNow Studio.

    Create workflows, UI policies/actions, business rules, and client scripts.

    Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools via REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server.

    Develop reports, dashboards, and performance analytics widgets.

    Conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and maintain documentation.

    Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and sprints.

    Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

    Required Skills

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

    5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.

    Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.

    Experience with ITSM and at least one additional module (ITOM, HRSD, SPM, etc.).

    ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

    ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

    Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

    Desired Skills

    ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS – ITSM, HRSD, Discovery).

    Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).

    Knowledge of App Engine, Flow Designer, CMDB, and Discovery.

    Experience with Employee Service Portal and widget development.

    ServiceNow Certified Developer certification preferred.
