Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Portal Developer with strong front-end and ServiceNow platform expertise to design, develop, and optimize interactive and user-friendly Service Portals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of UX design, custom widget development, and API integrations to deliver seamless digital experiences on the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop custom ServiceNow Service Portals, ensuring intuitive and user-centric interfaces.
Build, customize, and enhance widgets using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into technical designs.
Implement and integrate APIs for seamless interaction between ServiceNow and external systems.
Optimize portal performance, responsiveness, and functionality.
Develop and maintain catalog items, workflows, and business rules supporting the portal experience.
Troubleshoot portal-related issues, ensuring stability, usability, and scalability.
Adhere to ServiceNow best practices for code, configuration, and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience:
6+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a focus on Service Portal design and customization.
Strong expertise in React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Proven experience developing custom widgets and handling complex UX/UI scenarios.
Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including workflows, catalog items, and client/server scripts.
Hands-on experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP) within ServiceNow.
Ability to optimize user experience and ensure high portal performance and scalability.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or equivalent certification.
Experience with AngularJS or modern JavaScript frameworks.
Familiarity with ITSM, HRSD, or CSM modules in ServiceNow.
