Job Description
A regional insurance office in Orange County is looking for an Operations Specialist to join the team. The Operations Specialist serves as a liaison between all departments and managers to achieve a cohesive end result. In addition, this person will work closely with agents and producers to provide guidance and assistance to drive their business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle administrative work; answering phones, responding to emails, agent questions, policy transfers, client disputes, etc.
- Track and analyze reports, remain up to date on agents’ performances, and monitor production
- Develop improvement plans through report findings to drive increased activity and production
- Become familiar with products and systems to conduct agent and staff trainings
- Meet personalized individual performance metrics and goals with the drive to improve
REQUIREMENTS
- Prior insurance and/or sales experience
- Bilingual Preferred (Vietnamese or Spanish)
- Insurance licensed or willing to obtain license (Property & Casualty – Life & Health)
- Four-year college degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc) and computer navigation
- Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Undertake additional responsibilities and respond to situations without supervision
- Accepts feedback and is coachable
