Job Description

A regional insurance office in Orange County is looking for an Operations Specialist to join the team. The Operations Specialist serves as a liaison between all departments and managers to achieve a cohesive end result. In addition, this person will work closely with agents and producers to provide guidance and assistance to drive their business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle administrative work; answering phones, responding to emails, agent questions, policy transfers, client disputes, etc.
• Track and analyze reports, remain up to date on agents’ performances, and monitor production
• Develop improvement plans through report findings to drive increased activity and production
• Become familiar with products and systems to conduct agent and staff trainings
• Meet personalized individual performance metrics and goals with the drive to improve

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior insurance and/or sales experience
• Bilingual Preferred (Vietnamese or Spanish)
• Insurance licensed or willing to obtain license (Property & Casualty – Life & Health)
• Four-year college degree
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc) and computer navigation
• Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Undertake additional responsibilities and respond to situations without supervision
• Accepts feedback and is coachable
