Regional Field Sales Director is a hands-on position responsible for the overall success of all hotels in portfolio. Assist properties with developing sales and marketing strategies and working closely with the Director of Revenue to incorporate plans into overall revenue strategy. The goal is to meet/beat all room revenue projections. The following reflects the essential job duties but does not restrict tasks that may be assigned. Duties of this job may be changed as needed:
Duties include:
Create, direct and coordinate strategic sales direction/plan for hotels- oversee, coach and lead hotel-level teams to achieve revenue goals
Develop and execute sales activities and training pertaining to revenue attainment and incremental growth
Identify and analyze competition, both locally and regionally as well as in conjunction with sales across portfolio as a whole
Research and prospect to deliver leads to property level to help achieve revenue goals
Ensure RFP’s are properly bid within timely fashion and using educated rates- assist in gathering necessary appropriate information
Hold all properties accountable for tracking accurate hotel sales records
Create process to ensure the hotels are properly supplied with brand approved collateral
Ensure properties are targeting new accounts as well as submitting CBCs for possible national accounts as well
Work with hotels to develop packages and promotions to build business
Assist with managing in-house sales by implementing continued training at front desk- results must be measurable
Maintain excellent knowledge of local competition and industry trends
Produce monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyze current/potential market and sales trends
Regular property visits with regular remote supervision
Ongoing managing, coaching and developing of DOS and all sales-related activity

Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in a hotel sales, revenue and/or operations setting
