    Sethi Management has an opening for a CFO:

    Minimum 3 years of Hotel industry accounting experience

    Must be self-motivated, and a strong leader and team builder

    Must be bondable and scrupulously ethical

    College or higher level education

    Primary Functions:• Ensure the proper, timely and accurate performance and reporting of company’s accounting functions including:• Revenues• Banking• Payables• Receivables• Payroll• Budgets• Financial reports• Regulatory compliance• Cost controls• Cash & portfolio management• Ensure proper maintenance of all financial records of all managed hotels. Record maintenance includes:• Current and accurate financial statements• Compliance with GAAP• In accordance with the Uniform System of accounting for the hotel industry• Actively participate on the Strategic Planning Committee.• Support the development of annual Business Plan and the budget process.• Support the development, and track financial results, of annual Business Plans and budgets for each managed hotel.• Support the company and the managed hotel operations in attaining and exceeding financial goals.• Develop and implement expense control systems and strategies for all entities. Expense policies and procedures shall be developed, classified and treated separately for• Operating expenses (Budgeted and authorized to hotel GM)• Capital expenses including renovations (Budgeted/non-budgeted as authorized to Director of Purchasing)• Develop, implement, and track policies and procedures for new acquisitions.• Develop and maintain a robust relationship with the company’s banking institutions.• Develop and maintain a robust relationship with the company’s lending institutions.• Develop a financial performance benchmarking (internal) and comparison system between all of the company’s entities.• Develop a financial performance benchmarking (external) and comparison system with industry averages for all company entities.• Ensure good standing in the community by developing and maintaining relationships with bankers and financial institutions, hospitality industry accounting peers (HFTP), and local government taxation agencies.• Motivate, coach and train corporate accounting key team members, set goals and hold team members accountable, and provide appropriate feedback, rewards, and recognition.• Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal and team actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive, professional work environment, and ensure development and adherence to the company’s accounting policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
