Reports to: Sales Manager/Director of Sales
Sales Administrator is responsible to provide assistance for the Sales Manager/Director of Sales in a wide variety of complex office duties and maintaining day to day activities to ensure that Sales can meet the sales goals in accordance with brand standards and hotel procedures. The following reflects the essential job duties but does not restrict tasks that may be assigned. Duties of this job may be changed at management’s discretion.
Duties include:
Solicit and generate new and repeat business, maintaining organization of office files and reports and preparing written correspondence
Assist with selling guestrooms, meeting rooms and additional services to companies or groups as needed
May provide site inspections
Provide assistance to Sales Manager/Director of Sales
Identify and solicit new accounts
Monitor competitive activity
Maintain existing accounts
Receive calls to the Sales department and direct call appropriately
Completes daily/weekly/monthly reports
Maintain Sales account files
Maintain inventory of Sales collateral, supplies and amenities
Learn to use any Sales programs
Ensure efficient completion of daily assignments in a timely manner
Use supplies efficiently
Attend and participate in all mandatory trainings
Flexible with schedule and assignments
Maintain effective performance under pressure
Move, lift, carry and place objects weighing up to 25 lbs. without assistance and in excess of 25 lbs. with assistance
Follow proper procedures for lost and found items
Acknowledge and greet guests in public spaces
May perform similar duties as requested by supervisor
