About the Role: The Sewer Install Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing drain issues as well as leading customers to informed and confident buying decisions. This position will also be responsible for operating a skid steer, excavator, and groundbreaker.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Review the job plans and material requisition prior to arriving and addressing any concerns
Communicate regularly with customers, office, inspectors, and camera specialists on job progress or any issues that arise
Operate excavator, skid-steer, trench roller, jackhammer and other heavy equipment
Install new sewer, water lines, and other related plumbing associated with the job
Operate sewer relining, jetting and patching equipment
Oversee the safety and efficiency of any crew assisting on the job
Perform job with minimal disturbance to customers property and comfort
Backfill and tamp down trenches, concrete basements/ slabs, and seed & straw yards
Trains and mentors apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs
Is accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback, and option sheets
Capable of pulling/backing equipment trailers safely in residential areas
Able to operate with care in a timely manner
Required Skills/Abilities:
Clean, safe driving record
Personable and professional with a knack for diffusing messy situations
Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
Strong verbal and written communication
High integrity with advanced social skills and the ability to make solid connections
Strong desire to be a better technician tomorrow than you are today

Proficient in Yard clean up
Education and Experience:
Licensed with knowledge of local plumbing codes and the ability to make on-the-job applications
Experience operating heavy equipment, such as a backhoe (including rock hammering), mini excavator, trencher, and skid steer
