Sex Offense Treatment Provider for a Federal Health Center located in Everett, WA.
OPPORTUNITY
PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking a qualified and experienced clinician to provide individualized counseling to pretrial defendants charged with sex offenses. This role focuses on therapeutic engagement without addressing pending charges, in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines. Candidates should be licensed, familiar with ATSA standards, and equipped to work with high-risk clients using trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches.
Work Schedule: Services are typically delivered Monday through Friday, with hours scheduled based on client availability and referral volume. Flexibility is required to meet service needs, including occasional evenings.
Place of Performance: Services must be rendered within Snohomish County, WA, either in person at a confidential office location.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide individualized treatment to pretrial defendants charged with sex offenses.
* Deliver cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, and supportive sessions.
* Create and update individualized treatment and transitional care plans every 90 days.
* Refrain from eliciting or documenting information about the pending offense.
* Identify and respond to third-party risk or community safety concerns.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related mental health field.
* Licensed clinician with credentials permitting the treatment of sex offenses.
* Compliant with ATSA guidelines and any applicable state Sex Offender Management Boards.
* Must adhere to trauma-informed and risk-based intervention practices.
* Ability to handle emotionally volatile or high-risk clients with discretion.
* Facility must ensure private, secure space for sessions or approved telehealth setup.
