Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. We are a partner with Holy Name Medical Center and continue to grow our footprint in Northern New Jersey.

Responsibilities

-Provide primary care services to patients across the lifespan, including health coaching and education

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as medical imaging and laboratory tests

• Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

• Utilize electronic health record systems, such as eClinicalWorks, to document patient encounters and manage patient information

• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures

• Provide specialized care for specific populations, such as neonatal ventilator support or gastric lavage for poisoning cases

Qualifications:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of NJ
• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Nurse Practitioner
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area (e.g., Family, Pediatrics, Adult-Gerontology)
• Experience in primary care or a related field preferred
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
