    Darden Skin Care is seeking a best-in-class Creative & Content Director to drive forward the creative

    vision of the brand by leading and inspiring the design team across all visual touchpoints.

    The Creative & Content Director is responsible for leading strategy, ideation, creation, execution, and

    dissemination of superior creative content across the brand including – marketing campaigns, product

    packaging, digital footprint, experiences, social media platforms and more. In this role, you will support

    the overall direction and strategy of the Shani Darden brand identity in close partnership with brand

    founder, CMO and cross-functional teams.

    The right candidate for this role is a skincare enthusiast with impeccable taste and a passion for

    storytelling and bringing a founder’s vision to life. They’re a natural leader who can inspire and lead a

    design team to bring to life an innovative unified vision across mediums to drive the brand’s strategic

    initiatives.

    What You’ll Do

    The role is responsible for synergizing brand identity across all areas where we engage with the Shani

    Darden Skin Care consumer. This person will be tasked with continuing to evolve creative and content

    brand pillars while thinking strategically about branding, design, and commercial viability. On a day-to-day

    basis, you will be managing end-to-end execution for campaigns, digital design, photography, social

    media content, packaging, retail displays and brand experiences.

    The role will lead a team that creates all brand imagery, digital marketing, advertising, social creative,

    packaging and retail touchpoints. The role will require equal parts creative direction and team leadership

    to grow Creative and Social teams. This person will partner cross-functionally with the marketing, sales,

    product development and digital teams to drive the company’s brand vision.

    This role blends brand creative direction, content strategy and leadership:

    Creative Direction

    • Define the creative vision for and execute best-in-class brand concepts, 360 marketing

    campaigns, product and content

    • Direct & produce all photo and video shoots across all channels in partnership with design

    lead

    • Ensure the brand is presented in a clear, cohesive manner, supporting all business & brand

    objectives across an omnichannel landscape

    • Work closely with Brand Marketing & Founder to ensure that the brand is represented in the

    highest regard across all assets

    • Develop strategies and best practices for to continually develop commercially successful

    assets and evolve the brand's expression in partnership with channel leaders

    • Bring in new creative ideas including digital, visual & packaging trends

    Content Strategy

    • Content direction & execution

    • Platform-specific strategies

    • Increase output of all social content

    • Understand data and analytics and turn into action and assets that drive audience growth &

    engagement across platforms

    • Lead the development and execution of new social content to support brand pillars and

    product launches

    • Bring creative innovation to brand’s social channels and stimulate the development of new

    ideas with social team

    • Proactively track trends in culture, design, user experience, and social media

    • Oversee content calendar across all channels

    • Maintain consistent social tone of voice and aesthetics across channels

    Leadership

    • Grow team in developing on-brand, high-performing and relevant creative

    • Organize team workflow and manage production schedule

    • Develop & mentor team to help facilitate their career growth

    • Manage budget, prioritizing projects and team resources effectively

    • Ensure that the team is creatively inspired, engaged & motivated by the strength of the work

    they are putting into market

    Who You Are

    This individual will act as a thought leader in the organization, collaborating closely with founder, CMO

    and cross-functional teams. It will require a strong understanding of the brand and business goals, and

    the ability to think outside the box.

    This position requires a proactive creative leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for brand

    strategy, building, storytelling, and innovation. The role requires comfort working and operating within

    startup budgets.

    Superior communication skills and confidence in managing varying levels of stakeholders are essential.

    Education & Skills

    • 10-12+ years of experience within creative & content fields in beauty/wellness or luxury retail

    • Passion for brand development and storytelling

    • Proficient in the digital world and emerging platforms with deep knowledge in running best-inclass

    social media campaigns

    • Experience in commercializing luxury beauty products

    • Must be an excellent communicator, natural leader, team player

    • Highly organized, with superior attention to detail

    • Management experience required

    • Adaptable, resourceful, and forward thinking

    • Experience working at innovative, fast-paced startups or indie brands is a plus
