Shapes Fitness for Women is providing career growth opportunities for high-energy fitness enthusiasts. We are seeking fitness leaders to join our team as Group Fitness Instructors. We have a particular need for: step aerobics instructors, instructors available in the early, mid morning and/or evening hours (5p-7:30p start), weekend instructors (mid-morning), and Zumba, Barre, Step and Yoga instructors during the evening hours.
Responsibilities
Promote the Group Fitness Program to all members/prospective members and encourage increased participation in all classes
Greet members, answer questions and build rapport
Provide an outstanding group fitness experience
Deliver friendly,entertaining,motivating,effective and safe group training experience to members
Outgoing and excited to be on stage
Passionate about Fitness
Start and end class on time even if the class start was delayed
Ensure proper warm-up and cool-down
Adhere to class format
Embrace all levels
Be available and open to feedback
Ensure all equipment is returned to its proper place
Secure sub covereage if needed
Adhere to all general employment guidelines
Attend staff meetings
Requirements
Great communication skills
Basic exercise knowledge and certification
Passion for fitness
Self-discpline and motivation
CPR/AED Certification
