  • Responsibilities

    JOB PURPOSE: achieves club objectives by developing a quality club environment, meeting/exceeding new membership and retention goals, developing an efficient, service oriented and knowledgeable staff.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Manage the breakdown.

    Manage the guest system.

    Time management sheets by all employees.

    One page of BR’s per day minimum.

    Maintenance & cleanliness (issues documented).

    All personnel in uniform as required.

    Three to five guest in per week.

    Business plan completed for each month by the 1st and revised weekly by Monday at 10:00 a.m.

    Must do time card for all hours worked & punch out for lunch periods.

    Meet/Exceed personal quota of revenue per week.

    Be prompt for all meetings and daily work. Be in club from 9:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.p., Monday through Thursday. Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Work in club 6th day from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon if you don’t have an assistant manager.

    Must write gross quota per week in order to qualify for club bonus.

    Completion of breakdown every morning and faxed to your supervisor on the following Monday by 10:00 a.m.

    Meet club quota monthly.

    Call club each morning to be sure that it is open on time and staffed properly.

    Make sure daily figures are called in to your supervisor at closing each day.

    Training each new sales person on the training program.

    Disciplining employees as necessary and documenting same on counseling reports. No one is to be discharged without following corporate procedures.

    Be sure that all employees (including self) complete a time management sheet daily.

    Reviewing all paper work before sending to corporate office. Being sure that all is ready for courier each day.

    Keep all staff in uniform, including self.

    Must be CPR/First Aid/AED certified. If not certified at time of employment you will have ninety-days to accomplish those certifications. You are also responsible for maintaining up-to-date certifications for CPR, First aid and AED.

    Oversee childcare, payroll, cleanliness, staff, CPR certifications and employee/child interaction.

    Set up and implement a successful mid-month and month-end promotion.

    Communicate with maintenance department regarding any and all repairs. Make sure all items needing attention are on service list. If repairs are not done in a timely fashion, notify Vince Julien or Jeff Dotson.

    Hold daily meetings with staff regarding goals and planning.

    Meet weekly with fitness coordinator to discuss objectives.

    Control club payroll budget in all facets of operation.

    You are responsible for all promotional spending in your club. Don’t ask others to spend their money. The promotional budget is $50.00 per month.

    AUTHORITY LEVEL:

    Hire, discipline, manage, evaluate, recommend pay adjustments, terminate staff as necessary and needed. To ensure membership satisfaction, the Club Manager may issue guest passes, or other promotional items.
