POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide accounting support to the Corporate Controller, direct supervision and support to the Accounts Payable team, and locations as needed as well as manage all aspects of Accounting and Treasury management.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- The Accounting Manager is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day corporate accounting for multiple entities.
- Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day corporate accounting for multiple entities, including but not limited to Corporate and Holdings, as well as the AP support for multiple sites
- Manage full cycle accounting, including general ledger, financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, month end close, etc.
- Corporate Bank account management, coordination and oversight, including bank recs, daily cash reporting and revolver reporting and transactions
- Full ownership of Balance sheet/Income Statement (no Revenue)
- Manage Fixed Asset ledgers, including depreciation schedules and monthly reconciliations.
- Supervise Shared Service AP employees and provide proper training to staff as needed
- Manage all future Shared service AP implementations
- Support the year-end audit by coordinating responses to audit requests as well as coordinating all quarterly and annual tax compliance requests and requirements
- Assist with integration of locations into common ERP system as needed
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual Sales and Use tax returns for multiple locations.
- Day to day management of corporate credit card programs and companywide expense reporting system (Concur).
- Work with FP&A group as needed on financial projects and goals as well as month end reporting
- Manage all access to multiple corporate platforms including Bank accounts, credit card platforms, Concur and ERP system as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Manage all aspects of Corporate General ledger (no revenue)
- Manage Accounts payable
- ERP experience (Syteline)
- Well organized and able to manage multiple projects on a routine basis
- Strong management, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Willing and able to roll-up sleeves and assist team as needed with day-to-day transactions
- Advanced/expert Excel
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- 3+ years Supervisory experience, preferably in Accounts Payable
- Experience working in a corporate environment supporting multiple locations, Shared service experience is required
