Office Administrative Assistant position for an independent music school specializing in group and private piano instruction. The administrative assistant will perform front desk, receptionist related duties at a high professional level to support our clients in every manner on the phone, via email, and in person. The administrative assistant will be trained to understand our group and private lesson programs in order to assist our clients with enrollment related questions, scheduling, and billing inquiries. This would be an ideal position for a candidate looking to gain experience in customer service and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Answer phone calls, emails, in person inquiries and record details of each for future follow-up/reference. Assist new and existing clients with enrollment, registration. scheduling, and billing related matters. The assistant must be capable of communicating messages to office managers and appropriate staff members in a timely manner. Have great computer skills as they will be expected to respond to emails and learn our online operating system used for scheduling and billing. Will be expected to learn how to collect payments online and in person. Assist Piano Play clients and staff as assigned by the office managers. Marketing and/or Social Media background would be a plus as we would love a candidate who would also be interested in helping us expand our social media presence.
