Sharpe Patel CPA is growing and looking for the next addition for our team.

TAX AND ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE –

Desired requirements

• BS/BA in Accounting or Business Administration with concentration in accounting.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Ability to prepare and/or review complete set of financial statements
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred
• Experience preparing individual, closely held businesses/pass-through (S Corp and Partnership), and Not-for Profit tax returns a plus
• Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and budgets
• Proficient accounting, analytical, and research skills along with a desire to continue to grow professionally.
• Ability to communicate pertinent information to partners, managers, and clients
• Willingness to work with a team and complete administrative tasks when required
