Looking for a Marketing PR Assistant who has a passion for entertainment and an interest in learning about the movie and television marketing business. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated marketing professional that has entry-level experience in managing a wide variety of event programs aligned with revenue growth targets. This position requires a strategic marketing professional with experience in creating and executing relevant events towards new business prospects and C-level executives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and identify relevant promotional partners; track contacts and provide background information on each contact
- Support the team on partner programs including pitching, trafficking assets, and following up on agreed upon support
- Research and identify relevant tastemakers, social influencers, and bloggers for potential collaboration
- Stay current with new media trends and incorporate as appropriate
- Fulfillment including compiling and shipping of promotional items and maintaining and tracking item inventory
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions for campaigns
- Willingness and ability to learn and master applications such as Asana, BuzzStream, and CoverageBook
- Assist with general administrative duties to include maintaining team calendar, contribute to and maintain influencer and media database and other various tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years experience work with a major production studio in marketing, PR/communications, or events (can include past internships)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications at an accredited college/university
- Willing to travel and work on weekends is required
