    About the role

    MIINC Mechanical is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to lead and coordinate field crews on commercial construction projects. This role provides day-to-day leadership, coordinates with the jobsite Superintendent and other trades, and works closely with the Project Manager to keep work safe, productive, and on schedule.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee and coordinate multiple sheet metal crews on commercial project sites.
    • Provide direction and leadership to Journeymen, Mid-Level Journeymen, and Helpers.
    • Coordinate sheet metal activities with the jobsite Superintendent and other trades.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
    • Monitor daily progress and communicate project needs, challenges, and updates to the Project Manager.
    • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
    • Promote accountability, teamwork, quality, and productivity among field crews.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Commercial sheet metal experience with demonstrated crew leadership.
    • Strong understanding of sheet metal installation and commercial construction practices.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
    • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to coordinate effectively with Superintendents, Project Managers, and other trades.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.
