This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC ductwork systems to ensure proper airflow throughout residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. The Sheet Metal Mechanic will work with both sheet metal and flexible duct systems, performing fabrication and installation to meet project specifications and quality standards. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: To successfully perform in this role, an individual must be capable of performing each essential duty in a satisfactory manner. The qualifications listed reflect the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position. • Minimum 1 year of construction experience. • Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork design, and installation techniques. • Must be able to work on a ladder or scissor lift. • Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks. • Ability to diagnose issues and find solutions. • Ability to read blueprints and understand architectural and HVAC plans. • Attention to detail, ensuring accurate measurements, connections, and sealing of ductwork. • Customer service skills.
