Sheet Metal Project Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Project Manager to join our team in Tulsa, OK. This role is responsible for managing commercial roofing and architectural sheet metal projects from preconstruction through closeout. The position requires strong experience reviewing plans and specifications, participating in bid reviews, running multiple projects simultaneously, and supporting operational execution in the field.
The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of standing seam, BUR, and low-slope roofing systems, along with architectural sheet metal and wall panel assemblies, and can effectively coordinate with General Contractors, Architects, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple sheet metal and roofing projects concurrently from award through completion
- Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to confirm scope, constructability, and risk
- Participate in bid reviews and handoff meetings with estimating and operations teams
- Coordinate daily project activities with GCs, architects, vendors, and internal staff
- Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning
- Support operational execution, including crew coordination and production planning
- Manage material procurement, fabrication coordination, and delivery logistics
- Monitor project progress, quality, and safety through regular site visits
- Resolve field issues, RFIs, change orders, and scope adjustments
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
Technical Experience Required
- Sheet metal fabrication and installation oversight
- Standing seam metal roofing systems
- Built-Up Roofing (BUR) systems
- Low-slope roofing assemblies
- New construction and reroof/remedial metal projects
- Architectural wall panel systems including:
- Single-skin panels
- Soffit panels
- IMP panels
- ACM panels
- Steel plate panels
- Specialty/wood grain finish panels
- Louvers, screen walls, and façade components
- Installation of girts, hat channels, and related framing systems
- Insulation systems including wall board and mineral wool
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing multiple commercial sheet metal or roofing projects
- Strong ability to interpret plans, specs, and bid documentation
- Experience coordinating with General Contractors and Architects
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and operational execution
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment
