Our team is hiring a Shelf Life | Disposal Specialist for Warehouse Support Services for the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC), in Williamsburg, VA.
The Shelf-Life Disposal Specialist supports shelf-life management, expiration tracking, and disposal operations for medical, industrial, and general supply materiel in support of Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) Expeditionary Medical Systems (EXMEDS). This position is responsible for ensuring shelf-life items are accurately tracked, inspected, dispositioned, and documented to maintain inventory integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness.
The Shelf-Life Disposal Specialist works closely with inventory, receiving, hazardous materials, and warehouse teams to manage expired, near-expiration, and end-of-life material through proper storage, segregation, documentation, and disposal.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in shelf life management within a warehouse, logistics, or supply environment, including receiving, inventory management, warehousing, and material handling activities
Required Certifications & Licenses
Security Requirements
Valid Driver’s License; All NMRLC contractor employees must be U.S. citizens and maintain a favorable federal suitability determination (typically NACI with SF‑85/SF‑85P) sufficient to obtain and retain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) for installation, system, and facility access. Continued eligibility is required throughout contract performance, and loss of CAC or suitability status may result in removal from the contract.
