The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning, client-focused, and ready to take the next step in their career. This includes:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited program is required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience leading or directing support staff
Active or eligible for licensure in the state of Florida.
Strong communication and client service skills.
Ability to balance medical decision-making with available resources
Nice-to-have extras include: Experience with high-quality, high-volume (HQHV) and dental surgery, exposure to exotics, wildlife, or barnyard animals.
Bilingual skills in English/Spanish is a plus.
Your Role and Impact
As part of the team, you will:
Provide high-quality medical care through exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning tailored to each patient’s needs
Collaborate closely with team members to ensure efficient, compassionate care for animals in a dynamic environment
Support and guide veterinary technicians and assistants to maintain strong team performance
Contribute to ongoing improvements in protocols, workflows, and patient outcomes
Help expand services and increase the organization’s ability to serve the community
Participate in case discussions and outcome reviews to continuously enhance care quality
