    The Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning, client-focused, and ready to take the next step in their career. This includes:

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited program is required.

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience leading or directing support staff

    • Active or eligible for licensure in the state of Florida.

    • Strong communication and client service skills.

    • Ability to balance medical decision-making with available resources

    • Nice-to-have extras include: Experience with high-quality, high-volume (HQHV) and dental surgery, exposure to exotics, wildlife, or barnyard animals.

    • Bilingual skills in English/Spanish is a plus.


    Your Role and Impact

    As part of the team, you will:

    • Provide high-quality medical care through exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning tailored to each patient’s needs

    • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure efficient, compassionate care for animals in a dynamic environment

    • Support and guide veterinary technicians and assistants to maintain strong team performance

    • Contribute to ongoing improvements in protocols, workflows, and patient outcomes

    • Help expand services and increase the organization’s ability to serve the community

    • Participate in case discussions and outcome reviews to continuously enhance care quality
