Perform a variety of complex inspections on fabricated sheet metal parts and bonded structures to meet customer and Piper quality standards. Use various tools specific to trade such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, depth gauges and other equipment. Work independently or with minimum supervision.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to perform the duties of the job applying basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use geometry, shop math, and handbook formulas to calculate dimensions and convert angular to linear dimensions.
Required Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred 2yr degree and one to three years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires the use of specialized knowledge along with the ability to interpret drawings and/or blueprints.
