    Shepard Bros. Inc., a well-respected family-owned company specializing in chemicals and services for various industries in the Western US, is currently looking to hire a Production Worker for their chemical production facility located in La Habra, CA. Individuals with previous experience in manufacturing are highly preferred, especially those with a background in chemical production. The ideal candidate should have strong English communication skills, be dependable, and be able to follow schedules effectively. Responsibilities: • Assist in manufacturing top-quality finished products alongside compounders and supervisors. • Verify that the product matches the documentation on batch slips before packaging. • Thoroughly inspect containers inside and out prior to filling. • Maintain cleanliness in the production area. • Ensure all products leaving the production area meet quality standards. • Adhere to Shepard Bros. Inc. standard operating procedures for marking, labeling, and filling containers. • Uphold good housekeeping practices facility-wide. • Present oneself professionally as a representative of Shepard Bros. Inc. at all times. • Participate in all scheduled training sessions unless absent from work. • Follow and enforce all Shepard Bros. Inc. policies and procedures. • Foster professional relationships with colleagues and management. • Maintain a positive attitude and cooperative working relationship with departmental managers and coworkers. • Perform any other duties within a reasonable scope of a Production Assistant role. Qualifications: • Must possess strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. • Should demonstrate proficiency in accurately calculating and solving mathematical problems. • Must have the ability to follow instructions accurately. • Availability to work additional hours as needed is required. • Must hold a valid forklift certification and have proven experience in forklift driving. Compensation: $19 - $20 hourly
