Sherpa 6, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Technical Trainer for the Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS). As a Technical Trainer, this person will be responsible for working closely with the IVAS team and is overall responsible for the training, curriculum development, integration, continuing education and compliance.
Primary responsibilities
- Conduct live training for Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS)
- Consult with subject matter experts and managers to assess training needs and develop live and on-demand learning content.
- Analyze performance of individuals and assist with the development of continuing education programs.
- Provide classroom and online instruction
- Provide administrative support for training programs
- Modify and verify training databases and documentation
- Updates classroom training materials such as student handouts, lesson plans, overhead slides, and practical exercises, as required due to new software, hardware or tasks from the client.
Required qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and two/five years of experience
- Active DoD secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a secret clearance
- Must have senior level experience using Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Drive
- Must have strong organizational skills to plan, execute, and monitor training programs
- Must be have master level presentation skills
