  • Responsibilities

    Sherpa 6, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a skilled field support representative and system integrator for the US Army's Nett Warrior program. As a Systems Integrator, this person will be responsible for working closely with the Security Forces Assistance Brigade leadership and is overall responsible for the training, curriculum development, integration and sustainment of the Nett Warrior system, both CONUS and OCONUS .

    Primary responsibilities

    • Train and integrate ATAK, WinTAK, TAK Server and CIVTAK
    • Able to configure wideband and narrow band handheld radios
    • Ability to configure basic router and switch
    • Ability to bridge despaired networks
    • Experience with C4ISR integration
    • Experience with certificate management
    • Provide assistance with set up of fielding site and execution of fielding events
    • Identify discrepancies, anomalies and defects in products
    • Ensure accountability of equipment
    • Assist with shipping and logistics upon completion of fielding events
    • Conduct new equipment training on assigned products
    • Support the greater Nett Warrior team with on-site Fieldings and sustainment activities
    • Knowledgeable of SATCOM
    • Knowledgeable of Commercial and Tactical Cellular
    • Has Tactical Radio experience, specifically PRC-148C, PRC163C, MPU-5, and 117G

    Minimum qualifications

    • 3+ years proven experience working in a similar capacity
    • Active DoD secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a secret clearance
    • Strong experience with network architectures and network hardware configurations
    • Experience administrating Linux and other server systems
    • Military experience or knowledge of standard tactics, techniques, and procedures
    • Solid experience problem solving system and network design issues
    • Ability to communicate issues and solutions to various stakeholders
    • Excellent writing communication and reporting skills
