    We are an entrepreneurial law firm on track for growth and need a paralegal with solid experience in all aspects of estate planning law who can hit the ground running as we build our dream team. You will be part of a growing and dynamic team. Applicants should be experienced, highly organized professionals who can take the initiative and complete tasks with minimal supervision. This is a full-time job, so you must be able to work in person for 40 hours per week. Compensation is negotiable based on experience, and there is an opportunity for bonus compensation for outstanding performance. You should have experience in estate planning or probate and the ability to quickly and efficiently learn and utilize legal software. Characteristics: • Detail-oriented to keep track of key dates and avoid costly mistakes • Self-starter with the ability to independently seek out new projects • Team-oriented with the necessary flexibility of a growing law firm • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks, so we never miss a deadline Responsibilities: • Generate legal documents, letters, affidavits and pleadings • Maintain case files and additional relevant information in an organized and accessible manner • Meet with clients to guarantee excellent service, address basic non-legal questions about their file and obtain information necessary to ensure we deliver top-notch estate plans • Track and calculate progress on deliverables to meet deadlines Qualifications: • Experience as a paralegal or legal assistant working closely with attorneys and clients on estate planning and probate cases • Candidates should possess high-level organizational and time-management skills • Prior experience working with office management software, internet, email, word processing, case management, time and billing, legal research, and document management is required • Experience with standard office equipment such as laptops, phones, scanners, and printers. You must have basic computer skills and should know at the very least, how to turn a computer on and use software such as Microsoft Word. You should also be able to answer the phone and calmly assist clients in emotionally charged situations such as severe illness or death • To be considered for this position, you must agree to return a brief written interview that tests for knowledge, abilities, qualifications, habits, and behaviors (including attention to detail, communication skills, and technical legal knowledge or ability to find information) • You must possess basic good sense and exhibit sound judgment. You should be able to figure things out and make decisions independently Compensation: $53,000 - $65,000
