Shick Esteve is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Kansas City, MO. As an Outside Sales Representative you will be responsible for providing the service and sales of components, spares, and small systems to existing and new customers. This is a full-time job with the ability to work remote a few days a week. This role is compensated with both salary and commission. This position will be working with an existing customer base and will not be making cold calls. Leads are generated through our current customers and internal referrals.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely as the Account Manager for specific customers to develop and maintain sales; promote and sell Shick Esteve products when opportunities arise.
• Meet sales targets and assist in increasing overall sales of components, mini systems, and spare parts.
• Assist customers with providing quotes, order entry, and order tracking; develop a spare parts order list to provide to customers along with mini systems sales.
• Enter data into Salesforce and routinely follow up on quotations and update their status accordingly.
• Maintain databases (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information.
• Assist in the review of designs and plans to be compliant with industry standard practices and company standards; review contract requirements and related drawings and specifications.
• Provide consistent documentation to Engineering regarding the specific customer details that went into the design of a project.
• Participate in reviews for general project purchasing, financials, drawings, and contracts.
• Provide necessary technical support to customers and support field team.
• O&M manuals support and assistance when required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
• Experience with product and service sales
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with customers
• Must be a highly motivated, self-confident and self-driven individual, persuasive and goal-oriented
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software such as Excel, and Access.
• CRM solutions experience is preferred.
• The ability to read blueprints and schematics produced by Inventor and AutoCAD is a plus.

Great to Haves

• Knowledge of Shick Esteve systems and machine shop operation is a plus. Broad knowledge of the food production industry is helpful.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with employees, customers, and contractors.
• The ability to create and maintain effective supplier relationships.
• Having the ability to travel to support specific sales opportunities.
• The ability to multitask and effectively manage multiple customer requests simultaneously; the ability to adapt quickly to last-minute requests and changes to ensure customers are taken care of.
• The desire to gain product, process, industry and customer knowledge through continuing education and experience.
